About Me

I'm a Stay-at-home-mom to a beautiful little preschool princess. I love being able to stay home with her. I'm so very blessed to have an amazing husband who works so hard so that I'm able to stay with my sweet girl!

In order to stay sane while I'm home, I indulge my creative side! I love to sew, crochet, and write. I'm also quite passionate about photography. I've even turned my love for crafting and photography into businesses I do in my spare time. You can see, and purchase, my creations at Lilly Bunns Boutique . Or if you're in my area, feel free to contact me about doing a photo session at the Son Rise Photography Facebook Page.

I've struggled with my weight and food addiction for several years now. It all started in High School when I became anorexic. After being graciously healed of that, the weight just seemed to pile on. It wasn't until my husband very lovingly confronted me about my weight that I decided that it was just time to change. This blog is all about my struggles to lose weight and become fit and healthy.

It is my hope and prayer that others find my struggle both comforting and encouraging. My goal for this blog is that it becomes a sort of social network for those struggling with their weight. I'll be posting healthy recipes, fitness tips, weekly challenges, product reviews and so much more. Please feel free to interact, suggest tips, and share in the joys and hardships on the journey to a happier healthier you!

  2. Thanks, Jessica! The proper motivation is key! Hubs and I made a deal I workout and lose weight, he goes to church. He's saved, but it still feels like his soul is in my hands lol
